For the past three weeks, the Kappa Sigma fraternity at UA Little Rock has partnered with Chop Chop food truck to raise money in support of a good cause.
The Military Heroes Campaign seeks to assist veterans with the struggles that they face after returning home. The Campaign is funded partially by fundraising done by local chapters of Kappa Sigma.
“The fundraiser is part of the national philanthropy that Kappa Sigma takes part in,” pledge Andrew Bennett said. “The Military Heroes Campaign helps veterans that return home without jobs, that have been medically discharged or that need assistance with finding a home or filling out forms.”
The Asian-inspired food truck has been parked at the Kappa Sigma Lodge for the past three Wednesday afternoons for students to enjoy. Ten percent of the funds raised from the food truck sales will go towards the Campaign.
