Following up from last week’s forum, several senators have begun the process of circulating a petition to see how many UALR students would like to see eStem students removed from college spaces, such as the cafeteria. In response to other concerns, the senate discussed forming a committee to rethink parking on campus.
The SGA has also decided to partner with UA Little Rock’s chapters of the NAACP, Alpha Phi Alpha, and Student Affairs Success Initiatives for the upcoming “Who You With” event.
- Shy Whitley Smith, of the Arkansas Department of Health and Highway Safety Office, spoke to the SGA about the importance of seatbelt safety.
- Freddy Brown spoke on behalf of the upcoming Meet the Trojans event to ask for the SGA’s participation.
