Trojan Daze welcomes students back to school

Festivities, activities, and workshops abound as UA Little Rock welcomes over 11,000 new and returning students to campus.

Trojan Daze,” as the University calls its welcome week, started Aug. 16, with Move-in Day, and ends Aug. 25 with a Student Leadership Retreat.

Some of the highlights have included Freshman Convocation, a block party, an ice cream social with the Student Affairs Success Initiatives staff and escape rooms in the DSC.

Other notable events included a Wipeout and Battleship Night, a dodgeball tournament, life-sized games, and a t-shirt exchange where students could trade in old shirts for brand-new Trojan gear. Students also the chance to meet with Greek organizations in Dickinson Hall on Aug. 23.

The University is also hosting Blackboard orientations from the morning to early afternoon, which will continue into next week.
