LR overcomes deficit to beat Georgia State

Little Rock (LR) volleyball turned a 2-1 deficit into a win Saturday night against Georgia State at the Jack Stephens Center.

The Trojans (9-16, 5-8 SBC) defeated the conference foe Panthers (8-17, 2-10 SBC) in five sets by scores of 23-25, 25-15, 22-25, 25-17, and 15-10.

Senior Marina Avram and Freshman Mya Robinson both recorded double-doubles on the night  while Taylor Lindberg led both teams with 40 assists.

The Trojans look to extend their win streak to three games when they travel to UT-Arlington Friday.
