Trojans shut out Golden Lions

The Little Rock (LR) Trojans women’s soccer team remained perfect at home Tuesday night as they held the UAPB Golden Lions scoreless in a 3-0 win. The win took the Trojans record to (4-4-0).

The Lady Trojans offense continued its balanced attack, attempting 27 shots, with 14 shots on goal. The Trojans also had 14 players to play at least 45 minutes. 

Leading the way was junior Camilla Olsson, scoring two clutch goals in 61 minutes of action. 

The first goal by Olsson came in the 15th minute and was assisted by junior Sairra Tucker. The second of her two goals came in the 89th minute and was assisted by senior Quin Wilkes. 

Wilkes also hit the stat sheet by receiving an assist from Tucker and scoring a single goal in the 86th minute while playing 45 minutes.  

Tucker contributed two critical assists that led to goals while playing 45 minutes. 

Goalkeeper Kate Hamilton registered the win on the night with 3 saves.

The Trojans women’s soccer team returns to action against the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns’ Sept. 17, at 1 p.m. at the Coleman Sports & Recreation complex in Little Rock.
